The Ignobel prizes were a funny bunch this year. I couldn’t find one that leaped out at me, but both the videos are worth watching.
I guess I have to go for the physics prize, which determined “why discus throwers become dizzy, and why hammer throwers don’t”, for its potential application to paddle spinning after dragon boating.
