We had two specially delightful meals while in London and I thought I’d share.
- Gioconda Dining Room is a splendid place on Denmark Street of all places and fabulous value for excellent cooking. Mr Gabbe assures me the chef was one of Australia’s greats before overexpansion did for his empire. Very kind of him to be cooking delicious French-inspired food for us in a low-key setting.
- Vasco and Piero’s Pavilion is a great Italian on Poland and Noel Street. Again, lovely food in a great room. Thanks to @mrchrisaddison for the recommendation.
