The Chinese art of elegant bribery opens a window on a practice I hadn’t really thought about. Doesn’t matter if an artwork is real or fake, it still counts as an item of value and hence can be used to transfer money legally and quietly. And elegantly. (Unlike that last sentence, if it can be called such.)
