In keeping with my tradition of not updating very much (still slightly odd having the computer point in the bedroom and no WiFi), here is a view from our living room window. Sorry for rubbish quality: it’s super cloudy and that plays havoc with our little camera.
The big blue glass building is the Hong Kong Electric Center, other stuff is pretty well residential. Looking south with the Peak Road high above us.
The more expected view is slightly to the left:
You can see Central Plaza (spiky topped building), Pacific Place 3 (part of our complex) and the Hopewell center (round, looks like a candle). Looking East-ish, so we don’t see the harbour, as yet.
Here’s to your new life with glamourous views! much love to both of you.
First spelling mistake in YEARS. ‘Glamorous’. I knew that. Ouch!
Ahhh, but are any of them there buildings as high as Amanda’s hedge??? Keep sending through more news and tidbits from HK, Tomster…
No, nothing is as high as that hedge. Well, relatively speaking, anyhow. Some shots of some of our potential views to come.
My hedge has such a robust personality I sometimes think of it as Mathilda 🙂 Hope househunting’s going well, Tom.
Aha! Unexpected indeed. Very pleasant though.
