I wonder if #Trafigura will be the straw that leads to a real review of our libel laws (Spectator, Press Gazette). It’s one of those days where it is great fun to watch Twitterfall. Good old Guardian: nicely done to comply and not comply with the injunction. Is this a sort of quantum superposition reporting?
Let’s hope so. Index on Censorship an English PEN are publishing a report of our libel inquiry in early November. It will have recommendations for libel reform which we hope parliamentarians will implement.
