Now we are getting closer to always connected applications. All we need now is transparent switching between 3G and WiFi on the devices and we are sorted.

I don´t really understand the point of this device when you can have a mobile phone which does the same job through bluetooth and DOES transparently switch between WIFI and 3G. Unless you have a car full of teenagers and want all of them to share your connection?
Given the slightly sporadic connections in the flat we are renting (WiFi is provided care of my router in our real hose bedroom window across the road) I guess I have been thinking about another way of connecting.
I like the multiple device option (I think up to five). I haven´t tried tethering more than one device to my phone, and had sort of assumed it wouldn´t work, but am probably wrong.
Also, I only get the option of a bluetooth PAN connection for tethering on my phone. For the end user on Windows 7, this is still not a simple option
Every time you want to join, you have to left click the tray arrow to show the tray icons that are all hidden by default > right click Bluetooth Devices > Join a Personal Access Network > Right click on phone> Connect using > Access Point (how does any of that relate to the internet?) whereas the WiFi route would just work once you had it set up.
The WiFi route is also very quick to switch between preferred networks, allowing you to use a home router with the device while at home, then switch to the 3G network once you are outside without having to touch your connections.
