Retailers can make a 48% profit on used computer game sales. Now the publishers want a piece of it. I guess fair enough in some ways, but at the heart of it, surely a business that depends on us throwing away or keeping games that we don´t want any more has to fail? We´ve done the cheap-credit-fuelled consumption binge, and will have to reduce levels of waste (and consumption) if we are to give the world a chance.
