Funny seeing Ciudad Juarez in the news so much: it is the basis for Santa Teresa in 2666. I hadn’t seen pictures of the US border fence before. Just shocking that we have to come to this (or the equivalent in Palestine). Haven’t we learned anything since the Maginot Line?
