Time has more lists than you can shake a stick at. Many of them are “gah” lists with not much really new. However, there are some nuggets in there. From Jonza comes the Rough Trade list (of albumclub fame) too much to investigate there, I am afraid.

Are you still in the Album Club? I have cancelled as I didn´t really like any of the albums much. Some of the Wooden Shjips disc is quite good, but I wasn´t keen on the other two.
Yes – I thought a sample of a few wasn´t much (and I´m less judgmental than you!). I liked the Patrick Watson one, not the next one and the Shjips is OK, but not travel-to-and-from-work music, which is mostly what I listen to these days.
I loved the Mountain of One album – it´s brilliant. I gave ther Wooden Shijps one a quick listen and thought it was OK.
And I like JayMay today. Briefly.
Claire was raving about it yesterday. She wasn´t so keen on Wooden Shijps though.
It´s not much of a marketing slogan for The Album Club, is it: "We please most of the people most of the time"
