Sherman's Lagoon reminds me of home today. The "NK Convenience Store" in Tufnell Park was a gloriously silly name for a shop. Probably owned by e.g. Nitesh Kohli, but one can hope it was deliberate. Together with "Fettered Pleasures" on Holloway Road (which sells bondage gear) they would both raise a smile every time I passed by.

Hong Kong: I love that my coffee server in Starbucks was called Milk and asked me to go to their rating site to comment on my visit.

I also love that my helper has polished my “liquid wood” floor (thanks for the description +ResearchGirl ) so much that I have skidded a full two feet sideways in my stockinged feet this morning. Lucky to be upright and unharmed: lots of painful edges in that area. Strange to feel nervous walking in my own home. Yes, I could take the socks off, I know.
