I love the fact that my in-laws get knock off champagne from a man called Gupta in a tiny shop in Droitwich. I wonder who Brian and Sara were?
Beautiful day to arrive at the in-laws.
Thanks to all who came by last night. Splendid time and lovely to catch up with everyone. I particularly enjoyed the policewoman misleading my wife as to my location to ensure she headed off for cheeky late night cocktails.
My upgrade imp appears to have travelled with us. Great fun watching tourists, commuters and champagne quaffers. All from the safety of our room.

The flight was an hour early despite the pilot’s best attempts to slow the plane down. Which of course meant that the baggage handlers weren’t at work yet. Gotta love four hundred grumpy people at five in the morning. Joy.
We fly to London tonight. Both exciting and odd at the same time, in that we feel quite settled in HK. Very much looking forward to catching up with friends and family with military planning and precision.
