Lovely story of a well-intentioned effort to feed made-up (but plausible: i.e. celebs were in the reported city) stories to the tabloids. I guess the Max Cliffords of the world have a pretty good quantitative handle on the ratio of what’s true and what isn’t for the celebs on their roster. I guess in this case a high level of noise to signal is pretty good: you are then famous but no one really knows what makes you tick.
