So a note by Jonny with a sensible question (which I paraphrase as “why don’t we celebrate people who make a lot of money after having done socially aware work, as well as the other way round”) leads me to a site, Careershifters, which I am fairly sure is run by an ex-consultant from IBM who I met at Shell back in my CVA/Adweb days.
Which got me thinking about connections and work and people, especially as the old Connaught Court team is reuniting this weekend in a Wettzlegion (our new and slightly arch version of Twiglet Zone, FYI).

How to make the most of flip charts. We do a lot of this, especially post-it notes on a larger piece of paper (often called “brown paper” in consulting circles).
Still not sure about Fairtrade, but buying Green and Blacks is certainly out of the question now: a) sold out to Cadbury’s, b) non-Fairtrade, c) I instinctively dislike the CEO.
Lots of lovely consulting style slides here. Read and digest and use. I’m sure I’ve blogged it before, but couldn’t find the link.
Looking forward to working our way through the list of best restaurants in the world. Is it a bad thing that we’re starting at the top of the list later in the year? And I hadn’t even heard of Mugaritz even though we are less than a month back from San Sebastian! [Probably because it is out of town].
I guess it makes sense to fill the fridge and freezer as full as possible – cold liquid in containers escapes far less easily than air, so that you use less freezer cooling when you open the door.
A cracking Waz moment: business analysis firm suggests you need to buy more business analysis. Genius. And nice to have you back, Mr Watson.
