Thanks for the link to my article about things entrepreneurs shouldn’t forget…although I’m curious — why do you think it’s “scary”?
Answer: I’m just starting off down the “being responsible for people” journey. I don’t fancy the couch at work option, and it is horrible to be directly responsible for having to tell people they don’t have a job any more, solely because business says so. Personally, I’m pretty straight with staff and customers – I’m there to help or shouldn’t be there at all.
I guess some people would have said exciting? I find it terrifying – like public speaking, I’m good at it, but get butterflies something rotten. I think that’s a sensible reaction by the way – a few nights when you can’t sleep mean you care about your business.
